Ice Bar @ Jurong Point – CLOSED

Snow ice

Following almost a week of gloomy skies with intermittent rain, there’s finally some sun and warmth to make us yearn for some icy cold desserts.

What better place to satisfy our craving than Ice Bar, where we tried two flavors over two nights before heading home (Sep 26 & 27, 11).

The matcha green tea ($5.50) came with green tea ice topped with kidney beans and condensed milk. After the initial taste, we both agreed that this rendition had easily become our favorite due to its slight bitterness and astringency.

K was attracted by coffee with oreo ($5), not surprising since the coffee ice was accompanied with wafer biscuit stick, oreo biscuit bits and caramel sauce.

We especially liked the fine powdery texture of the snow ice. Coupled with intense flavors without being overly sweet, the desserts sure hit all the right spots.

The staff were polite and prompt though we needed to collect our order from the counter once it’s ready.

Note: Prices are nett. Ladies enjoy 15% off on Mondays after 6pm.
